Early Childhood Learning Programs
The Early Years Learning Framework
At Park Ridge Early Learning Centre, our educational programs are guided by the Belonging, Being and Becoming: Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) V2.0 and My Time, Our Place (MTOP) V2.0. These nationally approved learning frameworks support children’s learning, development and wellbeing through play-based, intentional and responsive teaching practices.
Our programs are developmentally based to meet the needs of each individual child and build on their interests, strengths and emerging abilities.
These programs are based on the Early Years Learning Framework. This an approved early childhood curriculum aimed at enriching children’s learning across all areas of childhood development.

Supporting School Readiness
At Park Ridge Early Learning Centre, we use the Australian Early Development Census (AEDC) as a valuable guide when planning experiences that support children’s readiness for school. Our programs focus on the key developmental areas identified through the AEDC, including:
- Physical health and wellbeing
- Social competence
- Emotional maturity
- Language and cognitive development
- Communication skills and general knowledge
By embedding these areas into our daily curriculum, we help children develop the confidence, independence and foundational skills required for a successful transition to school.
